Angkie is a Freelance photographer

who fell in love with photography at the age of 12. After having his first dslr camera at the age of 16, he now makes photography as his serious hobby.
Hi everyone, I am Angkie Borres, not my real name. I'd hide my real name since I'm more comfortable being called "angkie." I'm a freelance photographer in Cagayan de Oro City. My papa bought me my cam two years ago. Since then, I sticked with this hobby. I started freelancing at the age of sixteen. My total earnings for more than a year already reaches at about a price of one brand new dslr entry level.
I consider myself God-fearing. I am a person who wants to be busy all the time. I am a student of Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan, taking up BS - Business Administration. Yes, I am indulged with the Atenean culture and spirit since elementary. I prefer being a leader than a member.
I get involved to different events here in the city. At an early age, I am already exposed to different situations. I cover anniversaries, parties, programs, and my favorite- portraitures. My first wedding shoot was two weeks after my 17th birthday. I have volunteered myself to different activities in the city, one of these successful events was Help Portrait CDO where I met local photographers, make up artists, videographers, and other volunteers. I consider myself as a hobbyist rather than a professional.
Here's a quick background about my high school "career." I entered PAGASA, our school publication when I was a Junior student. I served as a Layout artist. I entered the football team and was a reserved goalkeeper. During my senior years, I was recruited by the Chairperson of the English Department to enter the school yearbook. I became one of the primary goalkeepers of XUHS team and participated in various cups and competitions. It was also the first time that I cried so hard because we lost in the Milo Little Olympics Soccer competition, we only had the 2nd place. It was really indeed a rough battle, I say. I was also appointed as a director for our class' entry for the Festival of Plays. "Strands of Gray" was a hard story to depict. Nevertheless, we got the 3rd place, we had the best actor and supporting actor in drama, another nominee for best supporting actor, and best in musical score.
When I was young I wanted to be a scientist. As I grew up I find other professions interesting. I wanted to be a police, a psychiatrist, a doctor, a lawyer, a politician, an architect and a businessman. But then I had to choose at most three professions only. I find Business Administration as a practical course, since it is in demand now globally, and will always be in demand. I foresee myself as an entrepreneur, and a professional photographer.
If you had the time to read, thank you. This is only 1/4 of my identity.
